My go-to style to get these gorgeous mermaid waves!
I love using these twist braids as an alternative style to french braids, whether as a protective style at night or to wear out during the day!
Key Steps:
• Make sure your hair is damp so you can get the best results
• Brush hair thoroughly to get rid of tangles
• Apply leave-in conditioner to keep hair soft and frizz-free
⭐️ You will need: 2 scrunchies or hair ties!
1. Part hair in two halves
2. Starting at the top of one side, grab a front section of hair and pull another separate section from under it
3. Loop this section of the hair over the original section
4. Grab the original section of hair from under, also grabbing more hair from the front with it
5. Repeat the process with the other section, adding more hair to each section each time
6. Once the twist reaches the ear, you should have 3 equal sections of hair!
7. Braid the hair all the way down, tying off with a scrunchie. I like to not loop the scrunchie all the way on the last one, because it keeps my ends wavy too!
8. Repeat on the other side!
I leave this style in for a few hours while my hair dries, or overnight for full results! I am in love with the end result every time 💗
