What’s Your Favorite Shampoo + Conditioner Combo?
Girlies I want to know what your go-to shampoo and conditioner combo is!
At the moment, I like to use a balancing shampoo everyday and I pair that with a gentle conditioner. Every 2 to 3 weeks or so, I use a clarifying shampoo instead to clean my scalp!
My hair type is naturally somewhat wavy, but when I don't take care of it as well it gets to this straight with uneven waves level. I have a feeling it could be due to the conditioner I use, maybe it is too heavy or it isn't properly hydrating my hair?
Let me know your shampoo and conditioner recommendations, especially if we have a similar hair type!

It's so helpful to hear everyone's go-to shampoo and conditioner combos! I totally get the struggle of finding that perfect match, especially when you have naturally wavy hair like mine that can get a bit unpredictable. While I'm still on the hunt for my ultimate hydrating conditioner, I've noticed a lot of you are curious about specific products, and one that keeps popping up is the Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle Shampoo and Conditioner! So, let's dive into what makes this duo so popular, especially if you're wondering what it's for and how to use it, or if it might be a good fit for your wavy or even 'blonde krullen' (blonde curls)! First off, the Tea Tree Tingle Shampoo is famous for that refreshing, invigorating sensation. The tea tree oil is fantastic for a healthy scalp, which is crucial for hair growth and overall hair health. It's often praised for its clarifying properties, helping to remove product buildup and excess oil. If you're like me and use a clarifying shampoo every 2-3 weeks, this could be a great contender! The OCR also mentioned a shampoo bar with jojoba oil for a healthier scalp – and tea tree products often have similar nourishing ingredients that benefit the scalp. How to use it: Many find it best to use this shampoo as a clarifying wash, perhaps once a week or every other week, especially if you have an oily scalp or use a lot of styling products. For daily use, some people find it a bit too stripping, particularly if their hair is prone to dryness. However, for those with oilier roots or those looking for a really deep clean, it can be a fantastic regular shampoo. Now, for the Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle Conditioner. This is where things get interesting for us wavy-haired folks! While the shampoo is more about clarifying, the conditioner aims to provide moisture. However, for some, especially those with very dry or coarse wavy/curly hair, it might not be the most deeply hydrating option out there. Remember, I'm looking for something more hydrating myself! But for others, it provides a nice, light conditioning that doesn't weigh down waves. Pairing it right: If you're using the Tea Tree Tingle Shampoo as a clarifying step, you might want to follow up with a more intensely hydrating conditioner, or even a deep conditioning treatment, especially if your waves need that extra moisture boost. For those searching for 'best shampoo and conditioner to pair with elive' (or similar products for specific hair needs), the Tea Tree Tingle duo can be a great foundational clarifying step, clearing the way for other treatments to work better. For our 'blonde krullen' friends, or anyone with wavy/curly hair, the scalp benefits of tea tree are undeniable. A healthy scalp is foundational for healthy curls and waves. If you find your waves get weighed down easily, the lighter feel of the Tea Tree Tingle conditioner might appeal to you. But if your hair is craving deep hydration to define those waves, you might consider it as a refreshing scalp treatment, and then follow with a more moisturizing conditioner or leave-in product specifically designed for wavy or curly hair. Ultimately, finding your perfect hair routine is all about trial and error. While I'm still exploring, hopefully, this deep dive into Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle helps some of you decide if it's worth trying for your hair type. Keep those recommendations coming – your tips are so valuable for all of us trying to achieve our best hair days!
