✨ Easy Collagen Hack (For the Bone-Broth Haters 😅)

I was actually on the hunt for collagen at my local Aldi, and look what I found 👀

I’ve tried the bone broth method because yes, it’s inexpensive and effective… but let’s be real — I just can’t get jiggy with drinking bone broth every morning 🥴

So when I saw these Prebiotic Collagen Drink Mix Sticks in different flavors, I grabbed one to try — Fruit Punch 🍓🍒

You already know the rule: if you see it, you better grab it 😂

Because Aldi does NOT keep the good stuff on the shelves long. If you spot these, I highly recommend buying more than one.

✨ Why I like it:

• No added sugar

• 5g protein

• Easy way to support hair, skin & nails

• Way more enjoyable than bone broth (for me)

✨ Fun ways to drink collagen:

• Mix with cold water + ice

• Add to coconut water or juice

• Blend into a smoothie

• Sip it during your morning routine instead of coffee

If you’re trying to be consistent with collagen without forcing yourself to drink something you hate — this might be your sign 💁🏽‍♀️

Save this & check your local Aldi 👀💚

... Read moreOkay, so we've talked about the magic of finding those amazing PurAqua Prebiotic Collagen Drink Mix Sticks at Aldi – seriously, a lifesaver for anyone who can't stomach bone broth! But beyond just a quick drink mix, I know many of you are searching for 'collagen rich foods' or 'healthy collagen drinks' that don't involve simmering bones for hours. I totally get it! While bone broth is indeed a fantastic source of natural collagen, it's not the only way to get your glow on or support your joints. My journey to consistent collagen intake really took off when I realized I didn't have to force myself to drink something I disliked. Finding those Fruit Punch, Passion Fruit, and White Peach & Strawberry flavored PurAqua sticks at Aldi for just $4.89 each (and noting they're often 'limited edition,' so grab them when you see them!) was just the beginning. These specific sticks offer '5g Protein' and 'No Added Sugar,' making them a guilt-free addition to my routine. But what if you want to diversify your collagen sources, or perhaps you're looking for more whole food options? That's where things get interesting! While true collagen is primarily found in animal products, certain nutrients are absolutely vital for your body's own collagen production. Think of it as giving your body the building blocks and the construction crew it needs. For instance, foods rich in Vitamin C are non-negotiable. Citrus fruits like oranges, grapefruits, and lemons, along with berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries), kiwi, and bell peppers, are packed with this essential vitamin. It plays a crucial role in collagen synthesis. So, if you're blending your PurAqua collagen with some coconut water, toss in a handful of berries for an extra boost! Another key player is proline, an amino acid that's a major component of collagen. You can find it in egg whites, dairy products, and certain meats. Glycine, another important amino acid, is abundant in gelatin, which is essentially cooked collagen – think Jell-O (the plain, unsweetened kind!) or using gelatin in recipes. Zinc and copper are also important trace minerals. Zinc can be found in nuts, seeds, and legumes, while copper is in nuts, seeds, and leafy greens. These minerals act as cofactors for enzymes involved in collagen formation. So, adding a sprinkle of pumpkin seeds to your smoothie or having a handful of almonds as a snack can indirectly support your collagen goals. Don't forget about antioxidants! Foods rich in antioxidants help protect your existing collagen from damage. Colorful fruits and vegetables – the more vibrant, the better – like spinach, kale, beets, and sweet potatoes are fantastic choices. For those of us who prefer a convenient drink, beyond the Aldi find, there are other powdered collagen peptides on the market that mix seamlessly into coffee, smoothies, or even plain water without altering the taste or texture significantly. They might not have the specific 'Prebiotic' benefit of the PurAqua sticks, but they offer pure hydrolyzed collagen. My personal routine now includes enjoying my PurAqua Prebiotic Collagen Drink Mix in the morning, sometimes with just cold water and ice for a refreshing start. Throughout the day, I make an effort to include plenty of Vitamin C-rich foods in my meals and snacks. It's all about making small, enjoyable changes that add up to significant benefits for hair, skin, nails, and even joint health. Being consistent is key, and finding methods you genuinely enjoy, like those delicious Fruit Punch sticks, makes all the difference!
