having a bunny is definitely not for the weak. many people falsely assume that they are low maintenance and cheap pets. truth is, this girl is way more work than my 5 cats combined.
rabbits cannot produce hair balls, and the hair that they do consume goes through their digestive tract. if they ingest too much, they can go into something called gi stasis, which is deadly.
this is why it’s so important to groom your rabbits, especially during their molting seasons. cinamon hates being brushed and having her nails trimmed, but it simply has to be done for their safety and comfort!
that being said, does anyone have brush reccomendations for rabbits? cinnamon is a lionhead so she has white a bit of hair and the brushes i do have aren’t going to cut it this year.
