When you join random games on Helldivers2 🍋
lol I’m tripping and I’m love it though
Okay, fellow Helldivers, let's be real – sometimes you just want to jump into a mission without the hassle of organizing a full squad. That's where playing with randoms comes in! I've had some of my most epic, and sometimes hilariously disastrous, moments diving into public games. It's a true mixed bag, but with a few simple tips, you can almost always guarantee a good time and maybe even make some new friends. First off, preparation is key, even when you're not sure who you're dropping with. When I'm playing with randoms, I tend to go for a versatile M4 IN LOADOUT that can handle various threats. Think about bringing a good primary, a reliable secondary, and support weapons or stratagems that can either clear hordes, take down heavy armor, or provide utility like supply drops or shield generators. Avoid overly niche loadouts unless you're feeling particularly adventurous or have a specific plan in mind that you can communicate quickly. Since you don't know your teammates' builds, try to fill potential gaps. Are they all bringing anti-armor? Maybe you bring a machine gun for crowd control. Once you're DROPPING IN, pay attention to what your teammates are doing. Are they rushing objectives, or meticulously clearing every bug nest? Try to adapt to their pace. Communication, even without voice chat, is super important. Use pings frequently! Mark objectives, resources, heavy enemies, and points of interest. A well-placed ping can save lives and coordinate attacks better than yelling into an empty mic. And seriously, watch your fire! Friendly fire is part of the game, but repeatedly blowing up your squad with an Eagle Strike because you weren't paying attention is a quick way to get kicked. Expect the unexpected. You might have a squad of seasoned veterans who flawlessly execute complex maneuvers, or you might find yourself with newer players who are still figuring things out. Both can be incredibly fun. If things go south and you find yourself ELIMINATED or hear that dreaded phrase, 'Killed by,' don't sweat it. It happens to the best of us in Helldivers 2. Just wait for your reinforcement, learn from the mistake, and get back into the fight. Don't be afraid to revive fallen comrades, even if it means putting yourself in a risky situation – that's what true Helldivers do! Another thing I've learned is to be flexible with objectives. While it's great to have a plan, sometimes a random squad will have a different priority. If you can, try to go with the flow, or at least communicate your intent with pings. If someone marks an optional objective, and you have time, consider helping out. A little cooperation goes a long way. Finally, if you have an amazing game with a random squad, don't hesitate to send them a friend request! Some of my best Helldivers 2 buddies started out as complete strangers in a random match. It's a great way to build a reliable team for future dives and experience even more chaotic fun. Playing with randoms truly adds an unpredictable layer of excitement to Helldivers 2, making every dive feel fresh and unique. So go ahead, jump in, embrace the chaos, and spread democracy!
