Easy Valentine’s Day breakfast!
My husband is a server and when he gets up, it’s a pretty quick get ready and head to work. I decided to make a little breakfast buffet styled breakfast. It even works as a perfect brunch.
I made:
- Ham & Cheese casserole (SO good!)
- Sausage patties or you could do links
- Bacon slices
- French toast sticks
- Hash brown sticks
- Pancakes
- Waffles
OPTIONAL (I didn’t do these) or swap out:
- Bagel with cream cheese
- Milk & Cereal
- Baked scrambled eggs
- Sausage/Bacon egg casserole
I’m really happy with how good everything turned out. It’s really easy and quick to make. You still get that lovely quick romance which is nice!
For drinks, you could make some kind of juice. I personally stuck with normal coffee for us.
If there’s anything else you’d make for breakfast, comment it below! I’d love to keep ideas on the back burner. 🫶
Valentine’s Day is a special occasion that calls for a warm and thoughtful breakfast, especially when time is tight. From my experience, setting up a breakfast buffet not only offers variety but also creates a festive atmosphere that feels indulgent without the stress of cooking everything fresh on the spot. The ham & cheese casserole stands out as a comforting and easy-to-prepare dish that can be made ahead, saving precious morning minutes. I highly recommend doubling the recipe if you’re feeding more than two people. For the savory components like sausage patties and bacon slices, I find that cooking them the night before and gently reheating them helps maintain their texture and flavor. French toast sticks and hash brown sticks are great freezer-friendly options that only need a few minutes in the oven or air fryer to crisp up. When I want to switch things up, adding bagels with cream cheese or baked scrambled eggs offers a nice change of pace and keeps the buffet interesting. Drinks are just as important — while coffee is a classic choice, fresh juice or a sparkling fruit mocktail adds a festive touch. Having this kind of breakfast buffet guided by a few easy recipes really enhances the morning without sacrificing that special Valentine’s Day romantic vibe. It’s a practical way to treat your loved one while respecting busy schedules, like those of servers or early risers. I encourage trying different combinations and sharing your go-to Valentine’s morning dishes—you might discover new favorites to include every year!
