Roof-Free Maha Church, a miracle of time at Tri Sing Buri Temple🙏
Take to see the miracle of Tri Temple (formerly Soaring Temple), Intraburi, Sing Buri, an old deserted temple that was supposedly built from the time of Sri Ayutthaya. Although the time has passed until the rest of the temple has collapsed into the water, the old church is still miraculously towering.
Extras and Brief History
- The church can remain stable without a roof because it has pho roots, tri roots, four walls, and it is a beautiful and rare natural architecture.
- An ancient church with only one door in and out.
- Father Wat Tri, inside the enshrine of the White Father, or the Soaring Father, has in the past been plagued by gold fire and cut off his head. Locals in the area have collectively raised money to restore the Buddha's head to its original shape.
There were people who thought of building a roof to restore it, but there was lightning, and the villagers dreamed that Father didn't want any modification, so the church remained magnificent until now.
- Every April 16 of each year, the villagers join together to make merit and wash water for the President.

เมื่อได้มีโอกาสไปเยือนวัดไทรที่จังหวัดสิงห์บุรี ผมรู้สึกประทับใจมากกับโบสถ์มหาอุดที่ไร้หลังคาแห่งนี้ ซึ่งแตกต่างจากวัดทั่วๆ ไปที่เราคุ้นเคย ด้วยเหตุผลที่ธรรมชาติได้เข้ามาทำหน้าที่เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของสถาปัตยกรรมราวกับปาฏิหารย์ จากการสังเกตอย่างใกล้ชิด รากโพธิ์และรากไทรได้เติบโตและพันเกี่ยวกับกำแพงโบสถ์ทั้ง 4 ด้านอย่างสมบูรณ์แบบ สถาปัตยกรรมเช่นนี้หายากและแสดงถึงความอดทนของธรรมชาติและความศรัทธาของชาวบ้านที่ช่วยกันอนุรักษ์โบสถ์แห่งนี้ไว้ไม่ให้ถล่มลงตามกาลเวลา ผมชอบฟังเรื่องเล่าของคนท้องถิ่นที่บอกว่าการพยายามสร้างหลังคาใหม่ล้มเหลวด้วยเหตุการณ์ฟ้าผ่าและฝันเห็นหลวงพ่อไม่ต้องการให้โบสถ์ถูกดัดแปลง เป็นเรื่องราวที่เพิ่มเสน่ห์ความลึกลับและทำให้ผู้ที่มาเยือนได้รู้สึกถึงความศักดิ์สิทธิ์และความผูกพันระหว่างผู้คนกับสถานที่นี้ นอกจากนี้ การที่มีพิธีทำบุญและสรงน้ำองค์พระประธานทุกวันที่ 16 เมษายน เป็นโอกาสดีที่ชาวบ้านและผู้มาเยือนได้ร่วมกันแสดงความเคารพและเสริมสร้างพลังใจผ่านประเพณีที่สืบทอดมายาวนาน ประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวนี้ทำให้ผมเข้าใจว่าการมาเยือนวัดไทรไม่ได้เป็นเพียงแค่การชมสถานที่โบราณ แต่ยังเป็นการสัมผัสกับความกลมกลืนระหว่างมนุษย์และธรรมชาติที่ดำรงอยู่ร่วมกันอย่างงดงามและลึกซึ้ง ใครที่ชื่นชอบประวัติศาสตร์และธรรมชาติ ผมแนะนำให้ไปเยือนและสัมผัสปาฏิหารย์แห่งโบสถ์มหาอุดด้วยตาของตัวเองครับ
