Home made Açaí Bowl
This was my first time making an açaí bowl at home and it did not disappoint. It literally did everything it was supposed to do!!!!
The base
——————-
I used an açaí packet and frozen smoothie fruit for the base (from Trader Joe’s) I blended the açaí and frozen fruit with a tablespoon of orange juice, tablespoon of honey, teaspoon of homemade vanilla paste, and teaspoon of homemade coconut extract until it was smooth but still thick. If too thick just add in a tad bit more orange juice but be careful not to add too much.
Toppings
——————-
It’s topped with blue berries, strawberries, mango, unsweetened coconut flakes, vanilla granola from Trader Joe’s and drizzled with tablespoons of melted peanut and tablespoon of honey.
10/10 recommend!!!! @Lemon8 Food #lemon8recipes🍋 #healthylifestyle2024 #food #foodie #blackgirlcreator #blackgirllifestyle
Açaí bowls have gained immense popularity for their vibrant look and health benefits. They are often enjoyed as a nutritious breakfast or snack, providing antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. To make the perfect açaí bowl, start with high-quality açaí puree and your choice of frozen fruits. Blending the base with a splash of orange juice ensures a creamy consistency. For toppings, get creative! Fresh fruits like bananas, strawberries, and blueberries not only enhance the bowl’s aesthetic but also add various nutrients. You can sprinkle granola or coconut flakes for a crunch, and a drizzle of honey or nut butter adds natural sweetness and protein. Experiment with toppings like chia seeds, nuts, or even cacao nibs for added health benefits and flavor. Whether served for breakfast, as a post-workout snack, or a dessert, these bowls can easily be customized to suit different tastes and dietary needs. Enjoy the bliss of refreshing flavors and a healthy treat with your homemade açaí bowl!
