End of the year wrap up challenge

For the last quarter of the year, I’m challenging myself. I just got back from vacation, so I’m taking a few days to collect myself and prep (prephase). Then once the kiddo is back in school (fall break is at its end) and hubby goes back to work (October 14) then I’ll start building myself up. I want to rebuild my habits; exercising, taking a daily walk (now that AZ is out of the triple digit weather), eat better, and continue working on getting my confidence back and getting my dream body (toned arms, flat toned stomach, toned back and shoulders, and bigger butt).

I’ll be posting when I remember what I’m doing for each phase as well as each week. Phase 1 starts October 14. All I’m basically doing is walking, strength training every other day, tracking my calories (I stopped once I got on the plane to Michigan), drink 64oz of water, read, and do my daily chores. Leave 🫶🏻 in the comments if you wanna join!

... Read moreAs the year wraps up, many people find it inspiring and motivating to set personal goals that rejuvenate both body and mind. This comprehensive 75-day challenge set into distinct phases—prephase, Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3—provides a structured approach to rebuild routines and work towards a toned, strong physique. Starting with the prephase between October 10-13 as preparation time, it’s important to take those first few days to mentally and physically anchor yourself before diving into more active phases. When Phase 1 begins on October 14, focus on simple yet effective habits such as walking to increase daily movement, strength training every other day to build muscle, and calorie tracking which is essential for fat loss and mindful eating habits. Drinking plenty of water each day supports metabolism and overall wellness. Throughout November and December, the challenge shifts gears—progressing to fat loss combined with strength building and then toning and maintaining those gains. Taking on a phased challenge like this helps prevent burnout and allows for gradual habit formation. In addition to the physical benefits, reading and daily chores are part of the plan, which highlights balanced lifestyle improvements rather than just focusing on exercise. This kind of holistic approach can boost confidence and create sustainable changes. If you’re in a climate like Arizona, where temperatures drop from extreme heat, this is an ideal time to start incorporating outdoor walks, taking advantage of cooler weather. Plus, inviting others to join in the challenge encourages accountability and community support. By setting clear goals such as achieving toned arms, a flat stomach, a sculpted back and shoulders, and a bigger butt, you end up with a focused target that can keep motivation high. Remember, tracking progress weekly helps keep the process transparent and rewarding. Ultimately, challenges like this empower you to reset your habits before the new year, finishing strong both physically and mentally. It’s never too late to start building the body and confidence you want—doing it step-by-step over 75 days can be greatly rewarding.
