I’ve visited 35 states in the United States! And my favorite state is Texas.#statesivebeento ### Traveling the U.S.: My Kodak Adventure Across 35 States

Hey everyone! I’m excited to share a bit about my incredible journey across 35 states in the U.S., all thanks to my role as an IT Director for Kodak Picture Planet. It’s been a whirlwind of experiences, from sporting events to breathtaking natural wonders, and I can’t wait to take you along!

When I first joined Kodak, I had no idea the adventures that lay ahead. Our main mission? Promoting green screens and superimposing technology long before it became a household term on our smartphones. Imagine this: an 18-wheeler that expanded into a photo gallery, complete with a state-of-the-art green screen setup. We traveled from coast to coast, setting up at events everywhere Kodak sent us.

One of the highlights was hitting the NASCAR tracks. There’s nothing quite like the roar of engines and the thrill of the crowd as we showcased our technology. We also made our mark at the ENEY golf tournament and various other major sporting events. Each outing was a new adventure, and I got to meet some fantastic people along the way.

Of course, I can’t forget my beloved Texas—my home state! Born and raised in the Lone Star State, Texas shaped my roots and my outlook on life. There’s no place like it, and I proudly call myself a Texan. I often wonder, what do you call someone from Texas? A Texan, right? If you’re from Houston, you might even refer to yourself as a Houstonian, but to me, it’s all about that Texan pride!

Among my travels, I’ve been to iconic places like Las Vegas, Arizona (hello, Grand Canyon!), and New York, where I stood in awe at Niagara Falls. The sheer power and beauty of the falls took my breath away, and yes, I couldn’t resist picking up a few souvenirs from the gift shop!

One of the most unforgettable experiences was visiting the Meteor Crater in Arizona. Standing at the edge of that massive hole in the ground, I was reminded of the wonders of our planet and the stories it holds. It’s a unique thrill to witness such incredible natural history.

I’ve explored so many states that it’s hard to remember every single detail, but each place left its mark. From the bright lights of Vegas to the serene landscapes of Upstate New York, every stop was filled with adventure, laughter, and a bit of Kodak magic.

So here’s to the next adventure! Whether you’ve explored a few states or all 50, there’s always more to see and experience. Share your favorite travel stories in the comments—I’d love to hear about your own journeys! ✈️🌍
