People say you can’t do it without an apprenticeship but that’s not always true. You can start practicing today with no actual tattooing and zero drawing by doing this:

•Use this pen & ink drawing workbook with these micron pens to get really good at pen & ink drawing. Photocopy the pages so you can reuse them over & over.

•Then use this tattoo machine with these ballpoint pen cartridges to do the same workbook pages over & over to get really good with that.

•Then use this pen & ink drawing guide to start doing original drawings from your imagination. Develop your own style. Experiment until something clicks. If you don’t have any ideas, then start recreating master works like Leonardo da Vinci paintings or Caravaggio.

•If you’re 18+, start practicing tattooing your thighs. Try to only do original designs.

•Post your journey every day on IG, TikTok, & YouTube. Be fully transparent & honest. Once you start getting good and are posting original drawings, people will beg you to practice your first tattoo on them. If you’re drawings are good, people won’t care about your tattooing skill level. You’ll be amazed how many people will want to support you on your journey and how many people will volunteer for free or discount tattoos.

•Use waterproof paper to print out flash sheets and flyers to put up around town. Do your first couple tattoos free. Then the next 20 for $20/each. Then the next 20 go $40. Then try to do huge full body designs. Only tattoo your own original artwork. This is the shortcut to fame.
