The accessibility and sheer diversity of music available now mean there's truly something for everyone, no matter how niche your taste. So, why might someone prefer one over the other? For me, the music from 20 years ago often brings a wave of nostalgia and comfort. It reminds me of specific moments in my life, and the simplicity of consuming music back then holds a certain charm. The distinct sounds of that era feel classic and timeless. On the other hand, the music of today offers constant innovation and surprise.
