Day 4 in Spain 🇪🇸

1/18 Edited to

... Read moreSeville truly stands out as one of Spain's most enchanting cities, and spending a day there means immersing yourself in a blend of rich history, stunning architecture, and lively street life. From my personal experience, the heart of Seville lies in its historic center where the majestic Seville Cathedral and the Giralda tower are unmissable landmarks. Walking around the Barrio Santa Cruz, the old Jewish quarter, offers an authentic glimpse into Seville’s Moorish past with its narrow, winding streets and charming plazas. What makes Seville especially vibrant is its festivals and local life. If you’re visiting in spring, you might catch the Feria de Abril, a colorful event full of flamenco, traditional costumes, and joyful gatherings. Even outside festival times, local tapas bars offer not just delicious food but also a warm, welcoming atmosphere that invites you to experience Spanish social culture. Another highlight is the Plaza de España, a stunning example of regional architecture with its tiled alcoves representing different provinces of Spain. It's a perfect spot for photos as well as a leisurely boat ride on the canal. For nature lovers, the nearby Maria Luisa Park provides a green oasis for relaxing strolls. Traveling tips: Wear comfortable shoes as Seville is best explored on foot or by bike. Try to visit less crowded spots early in the day to enjoy peaceful moments. And don’t miss tasting local specialties such as gazpacho or jamón ibérico, which truly capture the flavors of Andalusia. Overall, day four in Seville encapsulates the rich diversity of Spain’s cultural treasures and lively traditions, making it a memorable highlight of any Spanish itinerary.

How Much To Budget for 3Wks in Spain & Portugal 💸
My partner and I take 1-2 big trips a year, usually during shoulder season - we’re not fans of traveling during the summer plus the crowds are always crazy. And being that we live (relatively) far away from everywhere else in the world, we try to make the most of each by spending at least 2-3 weeks
