Today was just one of those days where I said forget it we needed a break. He’s been carrying a lot lately, and high school ain’t easy, especially when you’ve got an IEP and you’re just trying to figure yourself out. So yeah, he skipped school, and I didn’t feel bad about it one bit even after he’s been suspended 6 x’s already ha ha ha ha ha … not funny

We started the morning doing his hair lil fro turned into baby dreads then got him lined up, and he looked like my twin fr. After that we slid to Shake Shack’s grand opening, laughing and just vibing. Sometimes you gotta remind your kids they’re safe, loved, and that life’s not always about grades or attendance. Sometimes it’s about peace, fries, and fresh cuts. 💛#momandson
