Recently, I explored the Free Spirit Navy Jumbo wool yarn, which caught my eye due to its impressive 54 yards per 3.5 oz skein and a chunky 25 mm thickness. This yarn’s jumbo size makes it perfect for quick-knit projects like scarves, cowls, or bold home décor items. One thing I noticed immediately is the softness and warmth this wool yarn provides. Unlike thinner yarns, the jumbo wool creates thick stitches that highlight the texture and pattern of any stitch design I apply. Working with it was surprisingly smooth despite its bulky nature, which I attribute to the fine spinning quality. The navy color was rich and even, adding a timeless elegance to my project.
