things I stopped buying on a low income ๐Ÿ’ฐ๐Ÿ’ธ๐Ÿ’ฒ

When youโ€™re low income, itโ€™s not usually the big purchases that hold you back โ€” itโ€™s the small, frequent spending that quietly eats your budget.

I didnโ€™t stop buying everything fun. I stopped buying things that didnโ€™t actually improve my life. Convenience spending, trend-based purchases, and daily treats felt harmless, but they were the reason my money never stretched far enough.

Once I cut these out (or limited them), I noticed:

โ€ข Less end-of-month stress

โ€ข Fewer overdrafts

โ€ข More room for bills and savings

Low income spending habits arenโ€™t about deprivation โ€” theyโ€™re about intention.

If you donโ€™t miss it after stopping, it was probably costing you more than you realized ๐Ÿค

Facts right here. This is difficult for people because this takes discipline though.

I stopped doing a lot of things. I donโ€™t go out for burgers anymore. I go to the store and I buy a better burger to make it home. I donโ€™t go out for coffee. I have a really good coffee machine. I make my own coffee now I donโ€™t just go to the store and just buy anything I like doing thrift thing I think itโ€™s fun and a lot of times you can get things for really inexpensive and if you go in the mall, itโ€™s gonna be like three times the price so I donโ€™t really go for all those pricey things anymore. I have learned how to be humble with a lot of things and Iโ€™m very happy plus you can do a lot of things also with the dollar tree. They have a lot of things that you can make that on TikTok theyโ€™re expensive and you can make it for pennies so you just have to be creative and ingenuity
