UNLEARN THE LIES OF CHURCHIANITY: COLOSSIANS 2:16

HERE WE GO AGAIN GUYS… COLOSSIANS 2:16!

Colossians 2:16 is about KEEPING THE DIETARY LAWS. It’s about KEEPING THE SABBATH. It’s about KEEPING THE FEAST DAYS. It’s about keeping the biblical NEW MOONS.

It’s about NOT LETTING OTHERS JUDGE YOU for following the commandments of God. For following the TORAH.

“Let no one judge you in food or drink” means not to let others make you feel judged for eating according to the biblical dietary laws.

Let no one judge you for keeping the “Feasts, new moons, and sabbaths” means the holy days and feasts from Leviticus 27, and the “New Moons” which is how we track time through the biblical calendar. And the “sabbaths” meaning the high holy days and weekly sabbath. I mean, DUH!

Yet churchianity would use this verse to mean the total opposite of what it says. They want it to mean “let no man judge you for keeping whatever day you feel like for the sabbath.” They want it to mean “let no one judge you in food or drink” as in “don’t judge me for eating bacon and shrimp.”

Churchianity takes this verse totally out of context and makes it a justification for lawless behavior, when the reality is, this verse is about OBEDIENCE to the law! And they teach you the lawless interpretation of this verse right from the pulpit on Sunday!

Christians will ROUTINELY take this verse and twist it, just like Peter warned about. Peter warned that the unlearned / uneducated would twist Paul’s writings (as they do the other scriptures) to their own destruction. And this is a classic example of that.

The Christian church will take a verse such as Colossians 2:16 (that is meant to uphold the laws of Yhvh), and instead will profane it through the interpretation of the lawless denominational lensing of whatever pulpit it’s being preached from.

If you’ve been using the false interpretation of this verse yourself to rationalize eating bacon, or observing Sunday as your sabbath… it’s highly likely that your church is to blame for teaching you to read it that way.

Colossians 2:16 is not about “doing whatever you feel like on whatever day you feel like.” It’s about obedience to the dietary laws, feasts days, and sabbaths found in the law of Yhvh.

The sooner you realize this about Colossians 2:16, the sooner your eyes will be opened to the rest of the verses which you have been misinterpreting, or have been taught to misinterpret, your entire life as a Sunday churchgoer.

Shalom
