My Updated Hair Care Routine 🤩🫧🎀

🎀 For reference I have fine, pin-straight hair.

🎀 The clarifying shampoo is a must if you go multiple days in between washes to get left over product and dry shampoo out.

🎀 I use my conditioner as a hair mask and leave it on while I wash my body.

🎀 I am able to use the OGX bond treatment on my roots because it is so light weight. The smell is amazing.

🎀 I have been LOVING the Ordinary’s multi-peptide hair density serum. It reduces shedding in your hair leaving a fuller looking scalp. I am already on my second bottle and I am obsessed.

Read moreI’ve personally found that spacing out washes every 3-4 days while using a clarifying shampoo like Raw Sugar Scalp Restore really helps maintain a fresh scalp and eliminates buildup from dry shampoo and styling products. It’s crucial to choose a clarifying shampoo that hydrates as well, especially if you have fine hair that can easily feel stripped. Using conditioner as a hair mask is a game changer for me. While I wash my body, I leave the Dove Bond Strength Damage Therapy Conditioner in my hair, letting the peptides and bioproteins work deeply to repair and strengthen without weighing my hair down. This method saves time and really improves hair texture and softness. I also love applying lightweight bond treatments such as OGX’s Bond Repair on my roots—the scent is lovely and it doesn't leave any greasy residue, which is important for fine hair types. Another step I've added to my nighttime routine is using Olaplex Bonding Oil on my ends and finishing off with The Ordinary’s Multi-Peptide Hair Density Serum on my scalp. The serum feels light and non-greasy, and I’ve noticed less hair shedding with regular use, resulting in a visibly thicker scalp over time. What truly stands out about this routine is the combination of clarifying, conditioning, treating, and serums to maintain scalp health and promote hair density without overloading fine hair. It’s about balancing moisture and protein treatments to keep hair strong and voluminous. If you’re struggling with buildup, breakage, or thinning, incorporating similar products and steps might boost your hair’s overall health and appearance.
