SPRING JUICE CLEANSE: juice 4

HELLO TEAM! welcome back to my juice cleanse! today we made another green juice (my fav)!! this one is nice because honestly it’s 4 things that i already put together very regularly. i put cucumber, lime, and mint leaves in my water like every day (it makes drinking water feel luxurious). i also eat pears very regularly, so putting them all together is definitely an exciting idea for me.

i also included a photo of last nights dinner. we’re getting our juiced from the joe cross juice cleanse, and one meal that he recommends is a sweet potato hash. however, i’m super picky. so i replaced the red bell pepper with kale, and the eggs with beyond steak tips (which are probably the best thing beyond beef makes imo).

i have really been hating this as far as dieting goes, but i’m having so much fun making juices in the morning.

today we also did a barre workout today, a live with marnie alton which we really love doing. overall, great juice, great vibes, morale is high!

see you tomorrow!!!

... Read moreHey everyone! So glad you're interested in boosting your wellness with fresh juices. Beyond just tasting delicious, this cucumber, pear, and mint juice I shared earlier is actually packed with incredible benefits that make it a staple in my routine, especially during a spring cleanse! Let's talk about why these ingredients are so good for you. Cucumber is incredibly hydrating, obviously, but it's also rich in antioxidants and helps reduce inflammation. It's like a natural diuretic, gently helping your body flush out toxins. Then there's the pear, which adds a lovely natural sweetness and a good dose of fiber. Pears are great for digestive health and provide essential vitamins like C and K. And finally, mint! Beyond its super refreshing taste, mint is fantastic for digestion, can soothe an upset stomach, and even has antimicrobial properties. Together, these ingredients create a powerhouse drink that supports hydration, digestion, and overall detoxification. When you're thinking about ingredients for juicing, always aim for fresh, organic produce if possible. I often reach for items like four cucumbers, two limes, and a handful of fresh mint leaves alongside my pear for this specific recipe. But don't be afraid to experiment! For a different kind of green detox juice, you might also consider adding celery and parsley. Celery is amazing for blood pressure and hydration, while parsley is a potent diuretic and packed with vitamins. These additions can further enhance the detoxifying properties of your juice. Making your own juice is super simple. You just need a good juicer! Wash all your produce thoroughly. I typically chop my pear and cucumber into manageable pieces, de-seed my limes, and then feed everything through the juicer. For the mint, I usually add it in with the other ingredients. If you don't have a juicer, a high-speed blender followed by straining through a nut milk bag or fine-mesh sieve works too, though it might be a bit thicker. And since we're talking about holistic wellness, remember that what you eat alongside your juices is just as important. For example, my sweet potato hash with kale dinner is a fantastic, nutrient-dense meal that complements any cleanse or healthy eating plan. Sweet potatoes provide complex carbs and vitamins, while kale is a superfood packed with iron and antioxidants. Pairing your juices with balanced meals helps sustain your energy and supports your body's natural cleansing processes. So, whether you're following a specific cleanse or just looking for a delicious way to incorporate more nutrients into your day, this cucumber, pear, and mint juice is a fantastic choice. Give it a try and feel the difference!
