never playing xeno anymore…
Okay, so I literally just can't with Dragon Ball Xenoverse anymore, and I have to get this off my chest. You guys, have you seen the supposed 'agender angel leak' that’s been circulating? OH MY GOD!?!?!!? I saw it, and honestly, it’s the last straw for me. I’ve been a massive Dragon Ball fan for ages, played every Xeno game, but this… this just feels like a complete departure from everything I loved about the series and the game. I'm not even sure what to make of it. From what I gathered, it's supposedly a new angel-type character, possibly linked to a new saga or DLC, and the buzz is that they're explicitly identified as agender. Now, before anyone jumps down my throat, let me explain why this has me feeling like I want to DO NOTHING IT'S GONNA change my mind about quitting. It's not about the identity itself; it's about the context and how it seems to fit (or not fit!) into the established Dragon Ball lore, especially in a game like Xenoverse that thrives on fan service and classic character interactions. My biggest concern is how this might impact the game's narrative and character designs moving forward. Dragon Ball has always had a certain aesthetic and storytelling style, and while it evolves, some changes feel jarring. An 'agender angel' just sounds… forced in some interpretations, or maybe just incredibly out of sync with what players expect from new content. I mean, we're talking about a series known for its intense battles and power-ups, not necessarily for pioneering complex gender identity discussions in its character introductions. WHAT IS GOING on with the creative direction? And the leaks themselves are always so frustrating to deal with, especially when they reveal something this potentially divisive. It creates so much speculation and, let's be honest, often a lot of unnecessary drama in the community. I’ve seen enough of the discussions online, and honestly, bruh, it’s just not the kind of energy I want to be around when I’m trying to enjoy a game. When leaks like this drop, they can really sour the excitement for upcoming content, turning anticipation into dread. It makes me wonder if the developers are even listening to the long-time fans. Are they trying to cater to new audiences at the cost of alienating the original fanbase? It feels like they're going down a path that just doesn't resonate with the core of Dragon Ball. I’ve invested so many hours into building my custom characters, grinding for skills, and reliving classic moments, but if this is the direction the game is heading, I just can’t see myself continuing. It’s reached a point where my love for the game is overshadowed by this growing frustration. This 'agender angel leak' was just the final push I needed to say, "Okay, I'm done." It's a sad day for my Xenoverse journey, but sometimes, you just have to walk away when the magic is gone. What do you all think? Am I overreacting, or is this leak a red flag for the future of the game? Let me know!
