I never said this wasn't going to be controversial - this past years in Skateboarding I see a lot of people push for the agenda of placing a S for skateboarding on the LGBT this mentality is something so foreign to skateboarding that it surprises me that the OG haven't mentioned it.
I welcome all to skate - Just don't make Skateboarding something is Not- We're not a political movement - we're skateboarders - there are no such things as a gay ,black, Spanish, white skateboarder - Were just skateboarders.
Every real skateboarders knows this.
This why is so easy to make friend skating.
because we're only looking at you as a skateboarder.
So it is crazy to hear people push this thing on skateboarding that we should be more inclusive -; When in reality we have always been the sport with the most random cast of characters.
My view is that labeling skateboarding with political agendas dilutes its essence and camaraderie, which is rooted in the shared love of the sport.
Leading alot of people to be turned off to the idea of skate boarding.
In essence, My "true" sentiment is about maintaining the integrity of skateboarding as a personal and collective experience that is open to everyone, without being tied to specific social movements or identities.
