HOW I LOST 100LBS

The first picture is me at my heaviest which was 315lbs. The next picture is of my body now, minus 100lbs. To be completely honest, I avoided even attempting to lose weight bc I didn't think that I would have the will power or motivation to actually make a difference. I was so caught up in the idea that I had to make myself drop weight super fast and super perfect or it wasn't proper weight loss. I started crash diets. BAD. IDEA. I'd lose 10lbs here and there but I never saw consistent results. I tried going Vegan, Keto, Paleo, Whole 30, I even signed up for weight watchers but none of it stuck bc none of it felt approachable and it definitely wasn't sustainable. I would get super down, "cheat" or "fail" and then I would give up bc what was the point? This ate me alive from the inside out and I started destroying my body to find any kind of comfort or confidence.

What changed? I got sick of it. I had gotten hurt at work, which made me permanently disabled and I needed a way to control my life and feel like I was contributing to it in some way. I couldn't work and had time on my hands. I had to start really slow. I only did yoga for the first 5 months or so until I incorporated low weight(5lbs or less) , high rep lifting. I stopped following fad and crash diets and opted for a calorie deficit but didn't immediately cut out anything. Actually, I didn't and still don't cut out foods that aren't healthy that bring me joy. I just controlled my calories and implemented a low impact workout. Then BOOM. A year later, I'm -100lbs.

Now, this won't work for everyone. Your specific needs may be entirely different than mine but if you want to drop the lbs, you have to stay consistent. Even if it's small, put some effort into your body everyday and I assure you, you WILL see a difference.
