Rating My Empties: Styling Edition 💇🏾♀️
I've been searching for gels and edge controls that keep my #type4hair down and I think I might have found it with the first one 🤩
1. Taliah Waajid Miracle Hold Gel: This one has worked great for me so far 😍 I've only used it on my edges tho. Downside is that it's pretty expensive.
2. Murray's Edgewax: holds for like 2 sec and then oils down 😒
3. TruEdge Controller (Pineapple): works well if you dry it fast 🤷🏾♀️
4. The Doux Big Poppa: 🤮 defines absolutely NOTHING for me but it works really well for slicking my wigs
Have y'all ever used these products?

Finding the right edge control products can be a game changer for those with type 4 hair. Taliah Waajid Miracle Hold Gel has received outstanding reviews for its strong hold and natural shine, making it a favorite for many. Despite its premium price, users appreciate its effectiveness for edges, braids, and ponytails. On the other hand, Murray's Edgewax has garnered mixed feedback, with some users noting its tendency to break down quickly. For those who need a quick-drying solution, TruEdge Controller is a decent choice, especially when applied efficiently. Lastly, The Doux Big Poppa gel may not define curls as expected, but its versatility for wig styling is acknowledged by some users.
