Lemon8... please do better

so I got this lip tint in the mail a few days ago for doing a #lemon8challenge and I was confused at first cuz I'm like? what did I win that was this big?

....y'all 😐

For what reason did that lil lip tint need so much packaging? And before y'all play on my top, I am very grateful that I received this gift but a lil constructive criticism never hurt anyone. There was no need for this much waste with the packing paper especially. Thank you for the gift Lemon8 US but let's be a little less wasteful next time girlie

... Read moreIn today's beauty industry, sustainability has become a significant concern among consumers. Users are increasingly aware of the environmental impact of excessive packaging often seen with beauty products. Excessive packaging not only contributes to landfill waste but also increases the carbon footprint associated with transportation and production. One example is the packaging of lip tints, where sometimes the protection methods used can seem excessive compared to the actual size of the product. Many brands are now adopting eco-friendly practices to minimize waste. For instance, brands like Benefit and other cosmetic lines are exploring alternative sustainable materials and more efficient packing techniques. Furthermore, consumers are encouraged to support companies that prioritize eco-conscious practices, as this creates a demand for responsible sourcing and production methods. Engaging in discussions, like those found in tags such as #ecoconscious and #beautyfinds, contributes to a larger movement advocating for change within the beauty industry. By sharing experiences and feedback, beauty enthusiasts can influence brands to be more mindful and strive for reduced packaging waste.
