Recent Thrift Finds!
I finally had a chance to do some antiquing and thrifting this past weekend, I didn’t go too crazy but I did find a few good gems and I was excited so I had to show off 😌
The patterns get a double post bc that was a gold mine find especially bc none of the patterns have been used and I got them all for less than a $1 a piece! I would love to scan them in and archive them so I can reuse them a little bit easier but I’m not sure if my scanner is wide enough so we may have to get creative 😂 ( we’ll figure out that plan when we get there 💀 )
What have been yalls favorite finds lately? I’d love to see what yall have been loving lately since you humored my little haul 😇🫶🏻💕

Thrifting and antiquing are not only fun but also a treasure hunt that allows you to uncover unique items that have both history and character. On my recent thrifting adventure, I hit a goldmine with a box of vintage Stretch & Sew sewing patterns from the 70s. What made these patterns even more special was that none had been used before, and each was priced for less than a dollar! I’m excited about digitizing them, though I might need to get a bit creative because my scanner might not be wide enough for some of these larger or fold-out patterns. This step will help me preserve these vintage finds and make it easier to reuse them for new projects, combining sustainability with creativity. One of the best parts of thrifting is the surprise element—you never know what gems you’ll stumble upon. Alongside the patterns, I found other nostalgic items like a wicker sewing basket that can double as a purse and some quirky 70s-themed gnome figurines. These kinds of finds add personality to your collection and make each thrift trip uniquely rewarding. If you’re into sewing or crafting, hunting for vintage patterns at thrift stores and antique shops can be incredibly rewarding. These patterns often feature classic designs that aren’t available in modern collections. Plus, buying pre-loved patterns supports sustainable fashion and can spark creativity in ways new patterns might not. Have you ever found vintage sewing patterns or other crafting supplies during your thrifting trips? Sharing your finds can inspire others and help build a community of like-minded thrift enthusiasts. Whether it’s household items, clothing, décor, or crafting materials, each thrifted item has its own story and potential for a new life with a little TLC. Remember, thrifting isn’t just about finding bargains; it’s about embracing sustainable shopping and uncovering those wonderfully unique pieces that mass retail can’t offer. So grab a friend, hit your local vintage and thrift stores, and see what hidden treasures you can bring home this weekend!
