Visiting San Diego California was the highlight of our summer this year.It was our first time there, and we explored so many places😍
Oh my goodness, Coronado Island in San Diego truly stole my heart this summer! When we first set foot on that gorgeous stretch of coastline, I immediately understood why everyone raves about it. The golden sand felt incredibly soft underfoot, stretching out towards the sparkling blue water, creating such a perfect sunny beach scene. It felt like walking into a postcard. One of the absolute highlights was simply sitting by the shore, soaking in the sun, and having those relaxed beachside talks. With the refreshing ocean breeze and the gentle sound of waves, it was the perfect escape. What really blew me away, though, was the breathtaking San Diego city skyline visible right across the bay. Seeing those impressive buildings rise up against the clear sky while lounging on the beach was such a unique and iconic perspective. It truly encapsulated that 'SUMMER MOOD' we were chasing. For anyone planning their own San Diego adventure, I highly recommend spending a full day on Coronado. Beyond just the main beach, we loved exploring the area. You can rent bikes and cycle along the shoreline, offering even more stunning views of the coastline and the distant city. There are also charming shops and delicious eateries just a short walk from the sand – perfect for grabbing a casual lunch or an ice cream cone to enjoy by the water. We even found a spot close to the Hotel del Coronado where the sand literally sparkled – it was magical! We even took the ferry from downtown San Diego to Coronado, which was an experience in itself, providing fantastic photo opportunities of the skyline as you approach the island. This gave us a different vantage point of the city's impressive profile against the backdrop of the clear blue sky. If you're looking for that perfect blend of relaxation and picturesque scenery, Coronado Beach delivers. The golden hues of the sand at sunset, with the city lights beginning to twinkle across the water, create an unforgettable vista. It’s not just a beach; it’s an entire vibe, and one I can’t wait to revisit. Every moment, from the sunny blue sky overhead to the gentle lapping waves, made our first San Diego trip truly special. We spent hours just watching the boats pass by and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. It’s definitely a must-visit if you’re exploring the San Diego coastline and searching for that ultimate summer getaway.
