行く前に「ここだけは知っておくと安心！」と思ったポイントを追記します。私は週末のランチ時間に行ったのですが、宇都宮から近い“やな”なので、夏場はサクッと涼みに行けるのが魅力でした。 ■メニューは「鮎飯定食」が初めての人にちょうどいい 画像にもある通り、定食メニューがいろいろあって迷います。私が頼んだ鮎飯定食は、鮎の塩焼き・フライ・鮎飯が一度に楽しめて満足度高め。塩焼きは皮が香ばしくて身がふわっと、フライは臭みがなくて食べやすい印象でした。「とれたての鮎をすぐに調理してくれる！」というのが、いちばんのごちそうだと思います。 ■子連れ・グループなら“過ごし方”を決めておくと快適 鬼怒川沿いで風が通るので体感的にかなり涼しいです。水辺で遊ぶ子も多いので、子連れならタオルと着替えがあると安心。大人も川の音を聞きながらのんびりできて、食後の時間が意外と長くなりました。 ■アクセスのコツ：看板を見落とさない＆時間に余裕を 国道4号から少し入るので、最初は「合ってる？」となりがち。私は事前に地図で曲がるポイントを確認してから行きました。週末は到着～着席まで少し待つこともあるので、時間に余裕を持つのがおすすめです。 ■支払いは現金のみ：ここは本当に要注意 現地で「現金だけだった…」となると焦るので、出発前に用意しておくのが安心。家族分をまとめて払う場合もあるので、少し多めに持って行きました。 ■似た“観光やな”と迷う人へ（黒羽観光やな等） 「黒羽観光やな」など他のやなも気になるところですが、岡本観光やなは“宇都宮から近い”のが強み。移動時間を短くして、鮎料理と川辺の雰囲気を手軽に楽しみたい人に合うと思います。 行く時期は6月中旬〜10月末の営業期間を目安に、暑い日のランチ候補に入れてみてください。鮎飯定食、想像以上に満たされました。
