アメリカ館の訪問は、長い待ち時間を覚悟しながらも非常に価値ある体験でした。待ち時間は約1時間45分と長めでしたが、並び始めた直後に規制がかかったため、比較的スムーズに入場できたのはラッキーでした。館内は広く、ラクに見て回るには時間配分が大事だと感じました。 特に印象的だったのは宇宙シャトル関連の展示です。シャトルの構造や打ち上げ技術をリアルに再現していて、まるでディズニーランドのアトラクションのような疑似体験ができるのが魅力的でした。自分たちがシャトルに乗って宇宙へ飛び立つ感覚が味わえ、宇宙開発の先端技術に触れることができる貴重な展示が数多くありました。 また、マウナケア天文台の展示ではハワイの美しい星空を背景にした宇宙観測の最前線を知ることができ、天文学への興味が深まりました。これに加え、最後に見た月の石はまさに万博ならではの特別感があり、展示の締めくくりとして最高でした。 今回の体験を通して、アメリカ館は単なるパビリオンの枠を超え、教育的価値とエンターテイメントを両立させていると感じました。宇宙に興味がある方はもちろん、家族連れや若い世代にもおすすめのスポットです。長時間の待機も疲れますが、それ以上に感動や学びが得られるので、訪問する価値は充分にあります。 今後も万博会場の他国パビリオンと比べながら、効率的な回り方や混雑状況の参考になるような情報を共有していきたいと思います。
