Easy Carrot Cake with Brown Sugar Maple Glaze

Here’a the ingredients

Carrot Cake

- 1 1/2 cup shredded carrots

- 1/3 cup whole milk or plain Greek yogurt

- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce

- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

- 1/2 cup brown sugar

- 1/2 sugar

- 1/2 cup vegetable oil

- 2 eggs, I use Eggland's Best Eggs

- 1/4 tsp ginger

- 1/4 tsp cloves

- 1/4 tsp nutmeg

- 1 tsp cinnamon

- 1 1/2 cups flour

- 1/4 tsp salt

- 1 tsp baking powder

Brown Sugar Maple Glaze

4 TBSP salted butter, melted

3 TBSP brown sugar, packed

2 TBSP real maple syrup

2-4 cups of sifted powdered sugar (I would add one cup at a time, then taste. Once you’ve reached the taste and consistency that you like, then stop.)

Bake for 40- 50 minutes on 350 degrees or until it passes the toothpick test.
