I submitted an art contest

Once you've found a contest, preparing your submission is key. I always think about what message I want to convey. For my entry, imagining Mikayla as a monarch butterfly visiting the fox felt really special. Don't be afraid to experiment with different mediums – I love working with watercolor for its delicate feel, but oils, acrylics, or even digital art can make your piece stand out. Make sure your artwork, like a detailed watercolor painting of a fox among butterflies, is presented clearly. High-quality photos of your finished piece, even if it's just from your desk with your art supplies, can make a big difference.
