meet lion cubs at this underrated cafe in bangkok!

thr are 2 outlets – one at Juzi Hotel (Sutthisan) and another at Khlong Toei.

we visited the Khlong Toei branch as it was more convenient for us. upon arrival, we cld choose whr we wanted to sit. we opted for the outdoor sheltered area, which had a cozy glamping style (without d tents) set up!

thr was a min spend of 300 baht per person if u wna see the animals, which was pretty easy to hit.

what we tried:

🍕 hawaiian pizza | 380 baht

🍟 calamari | 260 baht

🧃 sprite

both dishes were alright. It felt like we were paying more for the experience rather than the food. hence, we didn't order anyth else aft hitting the min spend.

aft placing our orders, we were free to roam arnd and interact with the tiger cubs! but we were only given abt 5 mins with them so we had to rush for pics 😟🔨

we also spotted two hamsters and a mini monkey (not pictured) in their separate cages. thr were a lot more animals like marmots, squirrels, chinchillas etc., but we didn’t get to see them since we visited the smaller outlet (biggest regret!!!!!).

it seems like the outlet at Juzi Hotel is a lot more spacious and aesthetic too – u may wna consider visiting this one instead.

I'd also recommend gg in d aftnoon if u wna get nicer photos with the tiger cubs while thrs still natural light (last pic for ref). we arrived arnd 630pm and it was alr getting dark so the pics didn't turn out as good!

... Read moreIf you're planning a visit to the L-7 Café, I highly recommend going to the Juzi Hotel outlet, as it offers a bigger, more aesthetic space with a wider variety of animals to see. While the Khlong Toei branch is convenient, the smaller venue limits your experience — missing out on creatures like marmots, squirrels, and chinchillas is something I regret. To make the most out of your visit, try arriving in the afternoon to catch the natural light for better photos with the tiger cubs. The café’s minimum spending rule is easy to meet, as their hawaiian pizza and calamari are decent, though the main attraction is definitely the opportunity to get close to the cubs. Keep in mind the interaction time with the tiger cubs is brief, around five minutes, so be ready to snap some quick photos and soak in the moments. Alongside the big cats, you might spot some unexpected friends like hamsters and a mini monkey, adding charm to the wildlife experience. Sharing this unique blend of café culture and marvelous wildlife in Bangkok is a must for fellow travelers craving an interactive animal encounter in an urban setting.
