Healthy habits
1- hot girl walks !!! I love them so much, I started when Covid -19 first hit and since then I haven’t stopped. It helped me build confidence in working out, because I didn’t have to be around people like going to the gym. If you are just starting a fitness journey I highly recommend finding some local trails and start walking !!! It also helps so much mentally being in the sun, it truly does help with my depression. Listening to a motivational podcast are my go-tos on these walks, they honestly make it feel like I’m relaxing instead of exercising.
2- eating more Whole Foods, but do not restrict yourself to the point that you are miserable. It is totally okay to have your favorite foods, but in moderation. I never once held back when it came to my diet, if I wanted Taco Bell I got Taco Bell 😭😭. Being super restrictive at first can also make you burn out super early into your diet. Focus on more Whole Foods, but if you are craving that Taco Bell get it in moderation. I also began cutting back on portion sizes, after a few weeks I began to notice less food made me more full. (If you want more recipes/ diet tips I’ll make a separate post)
3-finally the gym!! If you feel comfortable enough to be working out in an environment around other people i definitely recommend heading to the gym!! It boosted my confidence so much since I started going and the gym community is honestly amazing!! Everyone is so kind and helpful. I always recommend a quick walk/warm up to get you familiar with your gym, the layout, and find ideas on what you want to hit that day. I do not have a strict workout routine, but depending on what’s being used/ how many people are there will determine what I am going to focus on that day. But its all about what makes you most confident and comfortable!( If you want me to go into details I can make a separate post about what workouts I do !! )

Incorporating healthy habits into your daily routine can profoundly impact both physical health and mental well-being. One effective habit is engaging in outdoor activities, such as walking or hiking. Research shows that spending time in nature can reduce stress and improve mood. Walking in natural settings not only provides a low-impact exercise option but also elevates feelings of happiness and relaxation. Pairing exercise with mindfulness techniques, like listening to motivational podcasts, can further enhance the experience, making it less about exertion and more about leisure. Another key aspect of a healthy lifestyle is incorporating whole foods into your diet. Whole foods, like fruits, vegetables, and high protein options, can provide better nutrition without the need for restrictive dieting. Understanding portion control can also lead to better satisfaction and energy levels throughout the day, allowing for indulgences when desired without guilt. It's vital to listen to your body and give it what it craves in moderation. Lastly, if you're looking to expand your fitness regimen, engaging with a gym community can be incredibly beneficial. Gyms often host a variety of classes and activities that can introduce new workout styles and motivate you to try different exercises. It's important to create a comfortable gym experience by familiarizing yourself with the facility's layout and equipment, and perhaps seeking advice on how to use various machines. Embrace this community aspect as it encourages accountability and support on your journey to achieving personal health goals. Adopting these habits not only helps in weight management but promotes a healthier, more balanced lifestyle overall.
