日本に暮らす外国人が増える中で、言葉だけでなく日本の生活習慣や税の仕組みをしっかり理解してもらうことの重要性を日々痛感しています。 私自身、外国籍の友人のサポートをしているうちに、自治体からの説明が不十分であること、そして民間やボランティアに過度な負担がかかっている現状を知りました。確かに、日本語の案内だけで済ませるのは無理があり、多様な言語や文化背景を持つ人々にとって暮らしにくさを感じさせることも多いです。 さらに、税に関する説明や手続きで通訳費用を自腹で負担するケースも少なくありません。これにより、収入が減るなどの実害もでており、もっと行政が責任を持って対応すべきだと強く思います。 個人的には、外国人の生活支援には専門の窓口設置や多言語対応の強化が必要であり、ボランティアだけに頼らず十分な予算と人員配置を自治体が行うことが、相互理解と社会統合の第一歩になると感じています。皆が住みやすい社会を目指すために も、こうした課題に対してもっと声を上げていきたいです。
