鹿追神社の花手水、写真で見ても可愛いけど実物はさらに綺麗でした。手水舎に近づくと、まず「心净」の額が目に入って、空気がすっと落ち着く感じ。龍の吐水口から流れる水の音も心地よくて、参拝前の“整う時間”になりました。私が行った日は、水面にレモンの輪切りとミントの葉、黄色いお花がバランスよく浮かんでいて、透明感がすごい…！柑橘の明るい色が入るだけで花手水って一気に爽やかに見えるんだなと実感しました。ガラスの器にもお花が飾られていて、上から撮っても横から撮っても絵になります。写真を撮るなら、個人的には「上からの構図」がいちばんおすすめ。龍の吐水口・レモン・ミントの配置がわかりやすくて、花手水の可愛さがそのまま写ります。逆に、人が多い時間だと手水舎まわりが混みやすいので、ゆっくり撮りたいなら朝〜昼前くらいを狙うと安心でした。参拝の流れとしては、鳥居をくぐって参道を歩き、手水舎で手と口を清めてからお参りへ。入口には大きな鳥居と「鹿追神社」の石碑があって、“着いた！”感がしっかりあるのも嬉しいポイントです。木々に囲まれた参道は季節によって雰囲気が変わりそうで、北海道らしい静けさも楽しめました。花手水は時期や日によって内容が変わることもあるので、「鹿追神社花手水」を目当てに行く場合は、行く前に最新情報をチェックしておくと安心です。無料で立ち寄れるスポットなので、鹿追町ドライブや北海道旅行の寄り道にぜひ。見た目の可愛さだけじゃなく、気持ちがすっと整う感じも含めておすすめです。
