Matthew 9:12-13 NLT - When Jesus heard this, he said, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do.” Then he added, “Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: ‘I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices.’ For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.”
Nobody is perfect. We are all sinners. We all have our faults, and we can't correct these things on our own. We need Jesus to lead the way. To follow his example and to continue to walk by his side. We struggle and fall, but he doesn't leave. So don't think He has left you. If you begin to feel that way, you need to pray and read His words. Discipline is the key.
Things aren't going to be easy, but the reward that was promised by our Father is soo worth it. We are deeply loved, and that's sometimes hard to remember when we start feeling so lost. So keep the focus our Father will prevail, TRUST his timing, his plan is perfect.

... Read moreIt's so easy to feel overwhelmed when life throws curveballs, isn't it? I know I've had moments where giving up seemed like the only option. But over time, I've learned that true strength isn't about never falling, but about getting back up, especially with God's help. That's where a prayer for perseverance becomes less about asking for an easy road and more about asking for unwavering faith to walk through the tough patches. I often use the example of 'prayers to overcome challenges' because life is full of them, from personal struggles to professional setbacks.
When I'm facing these challenges, whether it's anxiety creeping in or just feeling lost in the daily grind, I often turn to prayer. It's not always elaborate; sometimes it's just a heartfelt whisper, 'Lord, help me persevere.' But I've found that truly praying with the Bible makes a huge difference. Like the verse from Matthew 9:12-13 shared in the main post, these scriptures aren't just words; they're living promises. They remind me that even when I feel sick in spirit, Jesus is my physician, offering mercy when I least deserve it. I also look at psalms, like when people search for 'psalms 109,' not necessarily for specific vengeance, but for the raw honesty and cries for divine intervention that many psalms offer during hardship.
Speaking of grace for times of trouble, it's a concept I hold dear. It’s the understanding that God's favor isn't just for good times, but it’s abundantly available when we are at our weakest. I try to lean into this grace, acknowledging my struggles and asking for His strength to carry on. This isn’t a one-time fix; it’s a daily discipline, much like nurturing a garden through changing seasons. Just as vibrant autumn leaves burst with color before gracefully falling, signaling a time of change, our lives too go through cycles, and faith helps us navigate each one with hope.
For anyone battling anxiety and overthinking, I completely get it. It feels like a constant battle in your mind. What has helped me strengthen my inner man is creating a routine around God's word. It could be specific prayers for peace, like a 'prayer for anxiety and overthinking,' or even just reading a Psalm each morning. Sometimes, even thinking about 'strong prayer' can feel intimidating, but it simply means praying with conviction and honesty, knowing God hears you. It's about building that spiritual resilience one day at a time, trusting that His plan is perfect, even when ours feels chaotic. I've found that even 'workplace employee prayers before work' can set the tone for a more peaceful day.
Remember, you're not walking this journey alone. Whether you're seeking a 'miracle prayer for broken relationships' or just need that 'christian perseverance prayer' to get through another week, God is there. His timing is always perfect, and His love never fails. Keep praying, keep reading His words, and allow His peace to guide you. It's a journey, not a sprint, and every step of faith builds greater perseverance and helps us receive the promised reward. Let's keep our focus on Him, trusting He will prevail.
So glad you liked something I said. Love the Lord and going to follow you! Keep on with the faith we need it!! ❤️🙏
