沖縄のお盆は家族が一緒になって準備を行うのが大切だと感じています。私たちは豚肉のお供え物を前日に炊き、仏壇の掃除は娘が丁寧にしてくれました。親戚の方がお泊まりになることもあるため、家の中も片付けて準備万端にします。 また、沖縄独特の「ウチカビ」を燃やす習慣にも触れていますが、これについては火の扱いに注意しつつ、無理のない範囲で行いましょう。 沖縄の仏壇の飾り付けでは、女の子のフィギュアを飾ることがあり、ジジのために用意しているのが我が家の特色です。来客のために一時的にフィギュアを片付ける工夫も家庭ごとに違って面白いですね。 また、 今年は特に「星ドラ 遊び人のさとり」などゲームの話題が家族の会話に登場し、和やかな雰囲気を盛り上げています。お盆の間はゆっくりと時間を使い、家族みんなで過ごすことが何よりの思い出になるでしょう。 初盆の時期をずらすご家庭もありますので、自分たちのペースに合わせたお盆の過ごし方も検討すると良いと思います。沖縄のお盆は単なる儀式ではなく、家族の絆を深める大切な時間です。
