Synopsis
college student tsuneo's part time job
A mysterious old woman who haunts the neighborhood has become a hot topic.
The old woman always appears at dawn
He said he was pushing a baby carriage.
Tsuneo encounters a baby carriage coming down the slope.
When I approached and looked inside, there was a kitchen knife
There was a girl swinging.
The girl who calls herself Jose is lame,
I was taking a walk with my grandmother pushing the baby carriage.

私がいちばん気になったのは「原作と映画、どこがどう違うの？」という点。結論から言うと、どちらが上というより“刺さり方が違う”作品でした。原作（田辺聖子）は短編ならではの切れ味で、ジョゼという人物の毒っ気や孤独、そして恒夫との関係の不穏さが、さらっとした文章の中に混ざっていて後からじわじわ来ます。読み終わった瞬間より、時間差で効いてくる感じ。 一方で映画（犬童一心監督・脚本：渡辺あや）は、原作の空気を残しつつも「恋愛映画としての体温」を丁寧に足しています。映像になることで、ジョゼの部屋の閉塞感や、外の世界のまぶしさが強調されていて、原作で想像していた以上に“生活の匂い”が濃く感じられました。特に恒夫がジョゼの家に出入りするようになってからの、会話の間や沈黙がリアルで、短編の骨格をふくらませた良さがあります。 そしてやっぱり池脇千鶴。正直、検索で「池脇千鶴 すごい」と出てくるのが分かるくらい、ジョゼの感情の振れ幅が細かいです。強気で乱暴なのに、ふとした瞬間に幼さや怖さがのぞく。そのギャップが“可愛い”で終わらず、ちゃんと痛い。乳母車のシーンも、ただ印象的な設定というだけじゃなくて、本人の自由が制限されている現実が毎回突きつけられるので、見ていて胸が詰まります。 原作と映画をセットで楽しむなら、私のおすすめ順は「映画→原作」か「原作→映画」のどちらでもOK。ただ、映画を先に観ると登場人物の表情や部屋の質感が補完されて読みやすくなるし、原作を先に読むと映画の脚色（増やした部分・丸めた部分）が見えて“なるほど、ここをこうしたんだ”と二度おいしいです。 あと、2020年の長編アニメ版があるのも有名ですが、実写の池脇千鶴版は空気がかなり独特なので、世界観を崩したくない人ほど最初は実写から入るのが安心かも…と思いました。原作の余韻が好きな人ほど、見比べが楽しい作品です。
