『日出処の天子』のイラスト制作では、着物の柄に桜の花柄マスキングテープを使うことで、質感や華やかさを表現しました。私自身、この方法で絵にアクセントを付ける楽しさを実感しています。 作品原作の雰囲気に合わせて、厩戸王子の肌の質感も重要。鏡面のように滑らかで冷たさを帯びるイメージを目指したため、もう少し細かく塗るべきだったと反省もあります。 また、作品を改めて読み返すことで、厩戸王子の描かれ方やストーリーの奥深さを再発見できました。特に蘇我氏や聖徳太子の歴史的背景が授業で話題になるのをきっかけに、家族でも話が弾んでいます。 マスキングテープの使い方は、イラストに初心者でも取り入れやすく、作品の個性を引き立てる効果があるためおすすめです。私のように原作愛を持ちながら自由な創作を楽しむファンにとって、こうした工夫は表現の幅を広げる大切な要素になっています。
