沖縄に行くと当たり前のように売っていて、使い始めると手放せなくなるのが「斤袋」。私も最初は“パンの一斤？”って混乱したんですが、沖縄では透明のポリ袋を「斤」単位で呼ぶ文化があって、1斤袋・3斤袋（三斤袋）・5斤袋…みたいにサイズが分かれています。内地だとこの呼び方自体が珍しいので、話のネタにもなるんですよね。 よく聞かれるのが「3斤袋 サイズ 沖縄ってどれくらい？」というサイズ感。メーカーや商品で多少違いますが、パッケージに“〇cm×〇cm”ときちんと書かれているので、買う時はそこを見るのがいちばん確実です。私がよく見るタイプだと、20cm×27cmみたいに具体的に表記されていて、100枚入りの徳用パックも多いです。用途をイメージしながら、まずは1斤袋と3斤袋を1つずつ買うと失敗しにくいと思います。 私の使い分けはこんな感じです。 ・一斤袋：薬やアクセ、ふりかけ等の小物、幼稚園の着替え1セット、作り置きの小分け ・三斤袋（3斤袋）：旅行の仕分け（下着・靴下・充電器などカテゴリ別）、冷凍庫での食材整理、濡れ物の一時保管 ・五斤袋：大きめのパンやお菓子、タオル、帰省時の衣類の圧縮まではいかない“ざっくり収納” 特に3斤袋は「大きすぎないのに、意外と入る」絶妙サイズで、バッグの中のごちゃつき対策に便利。旅行先で出たゴミをまとめるゴミ袋にもなるので、私は数枚持ち歩いてます。 どこで買えるかは、スーパーや100均、ドラッグストアあたりで普通に見つかります。値段も100枚入りで100円〜300円台くらいのものが多くて、気軽に試しやすいのが最高。最近は“沖縄県産品”や地域循環型、CO2削減に取り組む…みたいな表示がある商品も見かけて、日用品でもちょっと嬉しくなりました。 沖縄土産として渡すなら、1斤袋・3斤袋をセットで渡すと「え、なにこれ便利！」ってなりやすいです。かさばらない・軽い・実用的の三拍子で、私は友達に配ったら「また欲しい」って言われました。次に沖縄へ行く予定がある人は、ぜひ“斤袋コーナー”をチェックしてみてください。
