As someone who frequently shops at both Target and Walmart, I've noticed that Target's rewards program often provides more personalized and valuable deals that Walmart just can't seem to match. One example that recently caught my eye is a free Starbucks item offer through Target Rewards — either a Bullseye Cookie or a Tall (12 ounce) Hot or Cold Brewed Coffee, which is great for a quick treat or pick-me-up. What sets Target Rewards apart is the ease of use and the way deals are auto-applied, so you don’t need to worry about clipping coupons or remembering promo codes. This particular offer expires on June 23, 2026, but many promotions have shorter windows, so staying on top of the app notifications or emails is key. I also appreciate that Target often offers a mix of exclusive items and experiences, which can make shopping more rewarding beyond just price comparisons. From my experience, Walmart's deals tend to focus mainly on price cuts and rollbacks but lack the personalized touch or added bonuses that Target gives through its rewards program. If you're looking to make the most out of your shopping budget, I recommend trying out Target Rewards and keeping an eye on their limited-time offers like this Starbucks deal.
