Ice Age Exhibition!
We went to the Ice Age exhibition at the National Museum of Nature and Science.
I went there ♪
As it is the first day of the three-day weekend, it is quite crowded...
My 6-year-old son has slipped through the things he is interested in and has lost sight of them several times 💦
And can't watch slowly 🤣
I said that I wanted to see the mammoth again during the permanent exhibition tour, but I gave up 😇
The animals in the ice age of the mammoths were amazing, but I was surprised that the replica of the old human? seems to move at any moment!

Lunch was at the restaurant in the museum... I waited for an hour, but since it is a reception system that can also be a call mail, I killed time by looking at the permanent exhibition. The restaurant itself was delicious because it was Ueno Seiyoken, and it was relatively reasonable for Tokyo 😁
My son particularly liked the taxidermy area on the third floor. There was a system where you could watch videos of each animal, and he was sticking to it 🤣
Overall, the exhibition method is for adults? What is which name? I do not know unless I look at the explanation carefully 💦

My 6-year-old son who likes dinosaurs, animals and whales was very happy to go around happily!
There is a playground for children in the museum, but it was already full on Saturdays and Sundays by online reservation system, so it seems that you can only go on weekdays 💦
Since I went there in the afternoon, I could not go around to the Japanese pavilion 💦

これから国立科学博物館の「氷河期展」でマンモスを見たい人向けに、行ってから「先に知りたかった…」と思ったポイントを補足します。 まず混雑対策。三連休や土日は本当に人が多く、展示の前で立ち止まって説明を読むのが難しい場面がありました。子どもは気になるもの（マンモスのレプリカや毛並みっぽい展示）を見つけるとスッと前に行きがちなので、入口で「次はここで集合ね」と目印を決めておくと安心です。ベビーカーは動かしにくい場所もあるので、混雑日なら抱っこ紐の方が回りやすいかもしれません。 次に大事なのが「再入場不可」。これ、体感的にかなり効きます。展示を見終わってから「やっぱりマンモスもう一回！」となっても戻れないので、マンモス周辺は写真も含めて最初に満足するまで見ておくのがおすすめです。マンモスだけでなく、サーベルタイガーなど氷河期の動物が一気に出てくるエリアはテンションが上がるので、そこで駆け足にならないように意識しました。 「氷河期展 図録」を買う予定の人は、売店の場所と混み方も想定しておくと楽です。私は出口付近で図録をチェックしましたが、タイミングによってはレジが並びます。荷物になるので、図録を買うなら最初からエコバッグを入れておくか、帰り際に買う前提で手を空けておくと◎。図録は展示の復習にちょうどよく、子どもも帰宅後に「マンモスいたね」と話しながら見返せました。 東京でマンモスが見られる博物館としては、上野の国立科学博物館は「展示＋常設」で満足度が高かったです。外のシロナガスクジラのレプリカや、敷地内のD51形蒸気機関車も子どもウケがよく、館内に入る前後で“寄り道スポット”になります。 ランチは館内レストランが便利ですが、昼どきは1時間待ちになることも。呼び出しメール（呼び出し通知）にできる受付システムなら、並びっぱなしにならず常設展示で時間を使えます。子どもが空腹でグズりやすい場合は、早めの時間にずらすか、軽食を持っておくと安心でした。 最後に、時間配分。午後から行くと日本館まで回れない可能性があるので、マンモス目的なら「氷河期展＋外展示＋常設の気になる階」くらいに絞ると満足しやすいです。次回は日本館も含めて、半日〜1日でじっくり回りたいと思いました。
