「craft district」で探していると、クラフト感のあるお店やエリア情報が出てきがちだけど、私の場合は“クラフト＝こだわりの手作り感”があるごはんを食べたい気分でヒットしたのがHOODIES CRAFT DINERでした。クレアモールの公園を少し入ったところで、外観からしてアメリカンダイナーっぽい雰囲気。初めてでも入りやすくて、ランチ前の時間帯でもふらっと寄れる感じです。 今回はチラシ（クーポン）を持って行ったら20%オフが使えてラッキー。こういう“craft districtっぽいエリアでお得にランチ”って意外と難しいので、紙のチラシは捨てずに取っておくのおすすめです。営業時間や地図も載っていて、迷いにくいのも助かりました。 看板メニューのスマッシュバーガーは、粗めのひき肉をギュッと押しつぶして焼くタイプ。食べてみると外側がカリッとして香ばしく、中は肉汁感がしっかり。ポテトが付くので、軽めのつもりでも満足度は高いです。キューバサンドはローストポークとチーズの組み合わせで、パンがカリカリに焼かれていて食感が楽しい！マスタードがしっかり効いているので、辛子系が苦手な人は最初に少しずつ食べてみると安心だと思います。 デザートで推したいのがカンノーロ（お店ではカンノーリ表記）。筒状の生地にリコッタチーズ系のクリームが詰まったシチリアのお菓子で、私は「どんな味なんだろう？」って好奇心で注文。結果、甘さが重すぎず後味さっぱりで、アイスと一緒に食べると満足感が一気に上がります。粉砂糖の香りと、クリームのコクのバランスが良くて“2個いけそう”って思ったのも納得。 craft district的な気分で「写真映えもして、ちゃんと美味しいランチ＋スイーツ」を探しているなら、バーガーかキューバサンド＋アイスコーヒー、締めにカンノーロの流れが個人的に大正解でした。
