暑い日に「カルディ スイカアイス」って検索してる人、多いの分かる…！私も店頭で見つけた瞬間、迷わずカゴに入れました。見た目からして夏ど真ん中で、ひと口目の“さっぱり感”がとにかく助かるタイプ。 今回食べたのは、熊本県益城町産のすいか果汁を使ったアイス。スイカ味のお菓子って香料強めのものもあるけど、これは香りがツンと来すぎなくて食べやすかったです。甘さはしっかりあるのに、後味が重く残りにくいので「暑くて食欲ないけど、何か冷たいのは欲しい」って時にちょうどいい感じ。 一緒に飲んだのが伊藤園のお茶。これが意外と相性良くて、甘い→お茶で口がリセットされて、またアイスが進む…の繰り返しになりました。炭酸やジュースより、お茶・ほうじ茶・麦茶みたいな“渋み控えめのさっぱり系”を合わせると、スイカの風味が邪魔されにくいと思います。 食べ方のおすすめもいくつか。 ・少しだけ室温に置いて、表面が溶け始めた頃が一番おいしい（果汁感が立つ） ・カップやお皿に出して、スプーンで軽く混ぜるとシャリシャリが均一になる ・追いアレンジするなら、塩をほんの少し（スイカに塩のイメージで甘さが引き立つ） あと、買う前に気になるポ イントとしては「サイズ感」と「満足感」。スイカ系はさっぱりしてるぶん“デザートの濃厚さ”を求めてると物足りないかも。逆に、こってりアイスが苦手な人には当たりだと思います。 私は暑い日に冷凍庫にこれがあるだけでテンション上がる派。カルディは季節限定っぽい商品がサッと入れ替わることもあるので、見つけたら早めに確保がおすすめです。
