When I set out to create a new piece, I often start with a feeling or a spark of inspiration, and for this artwork, it was all about capturing the essence of enchanted fairy magic in a truly whimsical digital illustration. One of the most frequent questions I get asked is, 'Where do you get your ideas?' For this piece, the vision of a multi-eyed fairy came to me almost spontaneously. I wanted to create something truly unique, moving beyond the traditional imagery while still retaining that magical, ethereal quality. The extra eyes, for me, symbolize heightened perception and a deeper connection to the mystical world these fae inhabit. The process of bringing this fantasy fae art to life was an adventure in itself. I spent hours meticulously crafting her large, colorful wings, making sure each feather and iridescent shimmer contributed to the overall magical effect. And those tattoos? They're little stories etched onto her skin, hinting at ancient lore and personal journeys within her starry night sky realm. The subtle text "Y THO" on the main fairy's leg is a little inside joke from my creative process, a reminder not to overthink things and just let the magic flow!
