「メイドカフェって気になるけど、初心者にはハードル高そう…」と思っていた私が、秋葉原で実際に“入りやすかった動き方”をメモしておきます。結論から言うと、街並みを先に楽しんで気持ちを温めてから入ると、かなり緊張が減りました。 私のおすすめは、まず昼〜夕方に電気街をぶらぶら。大通りは人も多くて明るいので、初めてでも歩きやすいです。ガジェット系や中古パーツを眺めつつ、途中でアニメフィギュアのショップを覗くと「秋葉原に来た感」が一気に上がります。ここで写真を撮るなら、看板が並ぶ通りや、ゲームセンター前のにぎわいが“秋葉原の街並み”っぽく写っておすすめ。 メイドカフェ初心者が安心しやすいポイントもいくつかあります。 ・客引きが多いエリアでは、焦って決めずに一度立ち止まって料金表を確認 ・入口に「システム（チャージ・ワンドリンク制）」が書いてある店を選ぶと安心 ・迷ったら有名チェーンや観光客が多い店にする（雰囲気が明るめで入りやすいことが多い） 入店すると「おかえりなさいませ」と迎えられるのが定番で、最初は照れます。でも、店内はアニメやゲームの世界観みたいな内装で、非日常感があって思った以上に楽しかったです。名物の“お絵かきオムライス”や、デコレーションされたドリンクは写真映えもするので、初回はそこを狙うのもアリ。 あと意外に気になるのがお酒事情。夜のほうがアルコールメニューが増える傾向はありますが、基本は「軽く1杯」くらいの空気感でした（飲み放題はほぼ見かけません）。昼はソフトドリンク中心の店もあるので、「お酒が目当て」より「体験が目当て」で行くのが満足度高いと思います。 最後に、初心者向けのコツとしては“休憩場所”を先に決めておくこと。UDXやアトレ秋葉原のカフェで一息つけると、街歩き→メイドカフェの流れがかなりスムーズになります。夜はネオンで街並みが一気に映えるので、帰る前に電気街をもう一周するのもおすすめです。
