Rikugien is a beautiful Japanese garden that expresses the world of waka poetry in the Edo period daimyo garden located in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo.

六義園は都心でありながら、まるで時代を遡るかのような静謐な空間が広がっています。私自身も訪れた際、まず池の周囲をゆったりと歩きながら、緑と水の織りなす調和に心が癒されました。特に春のしだれ桜は圧巻で、約15メートルもの古木が花を枝垂れさせる様は、写真や映像で見る以上に壮麗です。訪れる人々が足を止め、カメラを向けるのも納得の美しさでした。 秋になると庭園内がライトアップされ、紅葉の赤や橙色が池に映り込んで幻想的な世界が広がります。昼間とはまた違った趣があり、夜間の散策もおすすめです。私もライトアップの時期に出かけましたが、秋の冷えた空気の中、静かに流れる時間を感じられ、心からリフレッシュできました。 また、園内の茶屋では抹茶と季節の和菓子を楽しむことができます。庭園の景色を眺めながら味わう抹茶は格別で、特に庭園散策で歩き疲れた体に優しいほっとするひとときでした。こうした和の風情が都会の中に自然に溶け込んでいるのが六義園の魅力です。 さらにアクセスも良く、最寄りの駒込駅から徒歩約7分で訪れやすいのも嬉しいポイント。入園料が約300円とリーズナブルなので、気軽に訪れて四季折々の景色を楽しめます。庭園散策とセットで周辺も散策すれば、歴史と現代が交錯する街の魅力を同時に味わえます。 六義園は年齢を問わずゆったり過ごせるスポットで、私の両親も「ここならまた来たい」と言っていました。都心の観光を楽しみつつ、少し落ち着いた自然体験がしたい方には特におすすめの庭園です。日帰り旅行や穴場スポットを探す方にも最適で、健康にも優しい気持ちよい散策を楽しめる場所として、ぜひ一度訪れてみてください。
