・ There is nothing but a toilet at the nearest Higashihama station, so drinks and lunches are essential (there is a restaurant and a seaside house a few minutes on foot, but it does not open before noon & it is closed irregularly ⚠️)
・ The road along the sea is closed due to falling rocks, so please check in advance when accessing by car or bicycle!
・ It is also a stop station of the JR luxury train "Mizukaze," so if you can afford it, this is recommended 🚃
山陰海岸ジオパークは360度に広がる自然の美しさで知られていますが、その中でも東浜の西脇海岸は特に隠れた名所です。私が訪れた際には、透き通るような岩美ブルーの海が目の前に広がり、海底の岩まで鮮明に見え、その透明度と色彩に心を奪われました。 この地域はアクセスに少し手間がかかるため観光客も少なく、静かな環境の中で自然を満喫できます。東浜駅から降りると、小さな駅舎と自然に包まれた田舎の風景が広がり、日常の喧騒を忘れさせてくれました。私の体験では、飲み物やお弁当を持参するとより快適に過ごせます。特に昼前に開くかどうか不確かな地元のレストランもあり、計画的な準備が大切です。 また、この地域はユネスコの世界ジオパークにも認定されており、その地形の成り立ちや美しさを感じることができます。柱状節理や奇岩群が織りなす荒々しい地形とエメラルドグリーンの海は写真映えも最高です。私は洞窟のある岩山や白い砂浜を歩きながら、自然のスケールの大きさに感動しました。 列車旅を選ぶと、単線の汽車が緑の山間をゆっくりと走り、旅情を一層高めてくれます。特にJRの豪華列車『瑞風』の停車駅でもあるため、ゆったりとした高級感ある旅も楽しめます。車で行く場合は海沿いの道路の通行止め情報を事前に確認してください。 山陰海岸ジオパークの自然を楽しみながら、カフェやお店が少ない不便さも味わい深い体験となり、自然と共生する大切さを実感しました。海と岩と緑が作り出す絶景は心のリフレッシュに最適で、周囲の喧騒から離れたい人におすすめです。皆さんもぜひ足を運んで、この美しい「岩美ブルー」の海と雄大な絶景を体感してみてください。
