Morning Pump🌸
FTM 4months pp, LO hardly wakes from 11pm-5am for nighttime feeds so my first morning pump is larger than normal.
I do nurse in the morning before I leave for work. Which is why one side is less than the other.
Once going back to work my supply decreased by an ounce, I incorporated power pumping to raise my supply back up. This took about 2 weeks to see a change. Consistency is key.
I originally was using the Momcozym5 that was provided by insurance but did not like how bulky the cups were with the motor and that they had an opening at the top of the collection cup. Since then I have switched to MomcozyV2 pro and I just recently switched my insurance replacement to the medela freestyle collection cups. I will give you guys an update once i receive them.
In the future I will show a typical pump during the day so keep an eye out for that.
Let me know in the comments what you would like to see. Feel free to ask questions and I will answer to the best of my ability.

Many new moms face challenges in managing their milk supply, especially when transitioning back to work. It's essential to understand the impact of nighttime feeds on morning pump outputs. A typical morning pump can indeed yield more milk if the baby sleeps through the night, as noted in experiences shared by other mothers. Power pumping can effectively help counteract a decreased supply. It mimics cluster feeding and usually involves pumping for 20 minutes, resting for 10 minutes, and repeating for an hour. This method can signal to your body the need to produce more milk, and many women report seeing results after just a couple of weeks when they stick to a consistent schedule. When it comes to breast pumps, finding the right one is crucial. While some may find bulkier models like the MomcozyM5 cumbersome, others prefer lighter, more adaptable options such as the MomcozyV2 Pro or the Medela Freestyle. The transitional experiences shared by breastfeeding moms can greatly influence your pump choice. Engaging with online communities can also provide support and insight. Sharing tips, asking questions, and learning from collective experiences can empower mothers navigating their breastfeeding journeys.
