私も以前、横浜元町の『Oh!huggy!!』でフラワーおはぎを購入した経験があります。最初に目を奪われるのは、その華やかで繊細なビジュアル。まるでカップケーキか高級チョコレートのようで、目にも楽しい和菓子です。味は和の伝統を感じさせつつも、抹茶＆ホワイトチョコレートやストロベリーミルク、アールグレイ＆アップルなど、洋の要素が取り入れられている創作系で、食べるたびに新鮮な驚きがあります。 特に嬉しいのは、甘さが控えめに仕上げられていること。ヘルシー志向の私にとって、罪悪感なく楽しめるスイーツとして重宝しました。さらに、北海道産の小豆を使用したこしあんや粒あん、きな粉などの定番味もあり、月ごとに変わるフレーバーを楽しみながら通いたくなります。 店名の由来にも感心しました。Hug（抱きしめる）という言葉が入っており、「抱きしめたくなるほど愛くるしいおはぎ」や「人と人をハグするようにつなぐ」という思いが込められているそうです。手土産として贈れば、相手の心もほっと温まるに違いありません。 また、全国に店舗があり、神戸の岡本本店や東京・世田谷店など色々な地域で購入可能なのも便利です。母の日や特別なイベント時には限定商品や配送サービスもあるので、大切な人へのプレゼントとしてもおすすめです。 私が特に気に入ったのは、ほうじ茶や抹茶を使用したわらびもちや、春限定の桜フレーバー。もちもち食感と上品な味わいが絶妙で、何度もリピートしています。これからも季節ごとの新作を楽しみにしていますし、手土産や自分へのご褒美にぴったりのスイーツとして多くの人に伝えたいです。
