「伊豆高原 旅の駅」のドッグラン、実際に行ってみて“前より断然使いやすい場所になったな”と感じました。まず嬉しいのが、ドッグランが複数エリアっぽくなっていて、案内看板に「この先にもドッグランがあります♪」と出ていたこと。混みやすい時間でも、場所を変えて気分転換できるのは助かります。人工芝で足が汚れにくいのも、帰りの車に乗せることを考えると地味にありがたいポイントでした。 暑い季節は熱中症が心配ですが、上からミストが出ていたり、大型扇風機にもミストが付いていたりして、短時間でもクールダウンしやすかったです。うちの子は走った後にベンチ近くで休憩しがちなので、日陰や休める場所があると安心感が違いました。遊具（アジリティ）もあるので、ただ走るだけじゃなくて軽く運動させたい子にも向いていると思います。 そして個人的に一番の“推し”は、ペットカートに乗せれば店内の売店も一緒に入れること。伊豆高原駅周辺で「売店でサッと買い物したいけど、ペット連れだと待たせられない…」って困ることが多いので、ここはかなり便利でした。スイーツやドリンクが売っていて、ちょっとした休憩にもぴったり。お土産も落ち着いて選べるので、買い忘れが減りました。 写真で見かけた「足湯 カピバラ with 湯」も目印になっていて、待ち合わせもしやすかったです。ドッグラン→売店→ひと休み、の流れが作りやすいので、伊豆高原でドッグランを探している人には候補に入れてほしいスポット。 行く前のコツとしては、ペットカートを持っていない場合は現地で利用できるかを確認しておくこと、混雑しやすい休日は早めの時間に行くこと。近くに神祇大社もあるので、時間に余裕があればお散歩コースに組み込むのもおすすめです。
